Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

As Senior Investment Portfolio Adviser you will support MPI's investment fund managers by giving the best advice around its investments, have a solutions focused approach to ensure funds are in line with MPI's strategic direction.  You will identify opportunities to implement robust best practice, actively manage and interpret the portfolio risk.

The Investment Portfolio team is responsible for providing MPI with the information it needs to assure itself that every programme dollar counts and that its investments are delivering the intended impacts in terms of protecting and growing NZ.

 

Mōu - About You

You will have:

  • Understanding of portfolio and/or programme management.
  • Previous experience of managing grants or investment funds.
  • Understanding of business planning, budgetary processes and systems relating to business performance, reporting and governance.
  • Understanding of performance, monitoring and impact frameworks.
  • Significant experience in business engagement and the provision of financial services.
  • Ability to influence others and encourage contributions from people over whom there is no management responsibility.
  • Experience in managing relationships and consultation with an assortment of internal and external stakeholders.
