Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

The Senior Investment Performance Analyst provides day to day support to the Investment Portfolio (IP) Directorate, the fund managers and finance in regards to utilising the data and the analytical tools to answer relevant business questions and preparing reports. The role contributes to the provision of strategic advice to improve the impact and optimisation of the Investment Portfolio through a comprehensive understanding of the data which enables the IP team to deliver its value proposition.

The Investment Portfolio team is responsible for providing MPI with the information it needs to assure itself that every programme dollar counts and that its investments are delivering the intended impacts in terms of protecting and growing NZ.

 

Mōu - About You

You will have:

  • Understanding of business planning, government budgetary processes and systems relating to business infrastructure performance, reporting and governance.
  • Experience in analysing technical issues and making business decisions with financial impact.
  • Understanding of performance, monitoring and impact frameworks.
  • Ability to use data to inform management of investment performance, and provide oversight of performance.
  • Significant experience in business engagement and the provision of financial services.
  • Ability to influence others and encourage contributions from people over whom there is no management responsibility.
  • Experience in managing relationships and consultation with an assortment of internal and external stakeholders.
