Massey University seek an FMIS Manager to define their road map and strategy around financial systems ensuring they meet Massey's needs. Reporting to the CFO, the focus of you and your team will be to actively look for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business systems. You will be enabling a high quality, reliable finance systems environment that records and delivers timely and accurate information to key stakeholders. Playing a lead role in shaping the FMIS strategy, you will actively look to make business improvement and develop business intelligence. As the conduit between Finance and IT, you will represent the business needs when changes are implemented and check the integrity of data.

To succeed in this role, you will be a confident project manager with proven systems and accounting process knowledge within a large organisation and be able to develop an FMIS system that maximises value for the University. The ability to deliver projects on time and within budget is essential. Knowledge of Technology One and relational database concepts and leading systems change is desirable. Being the conduit between Finance and IT, you must demonstrate highly developed communication and relationship management skills. A relevant tertiary qualification in finance or computing is essential.
