Job Description

Hours: Full time
Location: Wellington
Business Group: Policy, Regulation and Communities
Branch: Regulatory Services

Salary: $79,115 - $107,038

Are you looking for an interesting and challenging role in a Department that makes a real difference to the lives of New Zealanders?

As one of the Government s largest regulators, our Regulatory Services Group aims to minimise harm and maximise the benefits of the anti-money laundering, gambling, and digital safety systems that we regulate.

Our Group Systems and Business Support team works across all three regulatory systems to support our systems so that our people and systems can be successful.

The role provides business technology advice and strategic insights across a range of systems, supports the development of effective strategies, policies and frameworks to build business capability and builds highly effective collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in strategic planning, business development or client management and working with a broad range of diverse and complicated business units
  • Proven experience in providing high quality strategic advice to senior managers
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of how strategic and business planning work together, and how technology supports business change
  • A can-do attitude that is both action-orientated and yet open to the input of others
  • Strong conceptual skills and the ability to think beyond immediate issues, make the connections between issues and consider long term and broader implications.

DIA offers opportunities to grow. We invest and believe in our people and offer diverse career opportunities to help them succeed.  If you would like a stimulating and rewarding career within a team that values people, their information and their stories, we would very much like to hear from you.
