Contact Centre, Department of Internal Affairs, 1.45pm 10.15pm Monday to Friday

The Services and Access Group is the face of the Department of Internal Affairs.  We want people who will deliver outstanding customer service in person, online or over the phone.  We re dedicated to serving the needs of New Zealanders - whether helping to register births, deaths and marriages, assisting with passports, RealMe and citizenship applications, or providing advice on applying for community grants and charity registrations.   

We can teach you how to use our systems and tools. All you need to bring is a great attitude, excellent communication skills and an ability and willingness to learn.  

Our Wellington Contact Centre has full time, permanent positions available working 1.45pm 10.15pm Monday to Friday.  

There is an increasing demand and provision for online services. Our customers have varying degrees of comfort in working with computers we need people who are patient, and have adaptable communication skills.
