The Customer Operational Servicing Team plays a critical role in responding to all notifications and concerns advised to WorkSafe, and ensuring that the appropriate actions are taken. This includes determining whether a matter falls within WorkSafe's jurisdiction, identifying that it relates to the conduct of work, determining the priority of the matter and the appropriate course of action.

This team is currently looking for a Team Leader for a fixed period until 30 September 2020 to manage the quality of service delivery by the Customer Operational Servicing Inspectors. This role is a critical component of Worksafe's strategy for achieving national how we represent our front door interaction with all stakeholdersand will monitor and manage a significant area of our risk and response activities.

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Operational Servicing, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, building and maintaining a high-performing team.
  • Identifying issues, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Managing constructive working relationships with work colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful you will ideally bring to the role:

  • Proven experience and ability in the leadership/ supervision of teams in a dynamic environment
  • The ability to plan, prioritise, and organise work effectively and efficiently to deliver required results.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making capability.
