Ko tā mātou mahi - Our role

As Tenancy Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the programmes by managing the interaction with tenants, internal staff and other community stakeholders as required. You will assist in the development and implementation of tenant consultation and relocation processes. You will also be a key contact working with the People and Property team and Communications teams to develop and deliver planned interactions and communications with tenants.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring:

  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in complex customer-facing roles in a project environment
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships, in difficult situations that may involve conflict
  • Strong communication and influencing communication skills
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Understanding of project management methodology
  • Full NZ driver's licence

You must be prepared to travel as will be required to work with tenants and stakeholders in other parts of the region outside the Wellington city.
