Kei te watea (Availability) – Lead Development Support Analyst

The Availability team support and enhance MSD's Master data Management platform which is used to support our digital channels being ‘always on' by providing an online data cache that is independent of core online transactional systems.  The team is currently seeking a Lead Development Support Analyst who will act as the team Configuration and Release Manager.


Responsibilities include

  • Building & packaging of Connect 360, API Connect, and Watea component codes
  •  Administering the C360 Cloud Dev environment
  • Overseeing Version Control
  • Preparation of Release & configuration notes
  • Leading all deployments to all non-production environments
  • Managing all non-production environments in conjunction with other MSD IT teams
  • Ensuring that releases to production are managed to MSD standards and practices


Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience in installation, configuration and integration of
    • IBM Infosphere MDM v11
    • WebSphere Application Server (including Network Deployment Manager)
    • API Connect
    • IBM Integration Bus v10.0.0.10
    • Oracle 12c
  • 3-5 years of DevOps experience with Shell scripts, Python, Fabric, WASAdmin Jython, Ansible, Jenkins, JMeter, SoapAPI
  • Proficient in Java/J2EE
  • Proficient with Java Web Services, SQL, XML SOAP/REST concepts 
  • Good knowledge with Unix administration Scripting
  • Packaging and deployment of following applications via automation (scripts) and manual of
    • IBM Infosphere MDM v11
    • WebSphere Application Server (including Network Deployment Manager)
    • IBM Integration Bus v10.0.0.10
    • API Connect
