Working closely with the Regional Service Delivery Manager, you will be focused on ensuring the delivery of all products and services offered by New Zealand Post meet our service standards and customers' expectations. This is a fast paced and challenging role with oversight of a mix of contractors and employees including: Delivery Agents, Couriers, Contractors, Contract Posties and Customer Service.


You will be a key point of contact for customers, including dealing with escalations and proactively seeking out opportunities for growth and customer service enhancement. Basically, you'll be responsible for all operations and delivery within your geographical area.


Our core business hours are Monday to Friday, however flexibility is required recognising the 24/7 nature of our organisation.

You are a leader with a “can do” attitude, who puts the customer at the front of everything you do to ensure nothing gets in the way of delivering what our people care about.


  • Leadership within an operational/service delivery environment
  • Experience managing both contractors and employees
  • Proven ability and interest in encouraging optimum team performance in a customer driven environment
  • Interest in developing strong customer relationships
  • Understanding of budgets, financial and analytical skills
  • Significant experience with health and safety
