About the role/Ngā hua o te mahi i te Manatū Aorere
In this role you will be a trusted business adviser - one of five Finance Business Partners, you will take responsibility for supporting a specific part of our large and complex Ministry. You will work with business managers across all levels of our business. You will develop a strong understanding of the area of the business you support - delivering accurate budgets, financial reporting and providing financial advice and support. You will proactively help drive process improvement and be comfortable recommending solutions to problems.
This is great opportunity for someone with core Finance Business Partner skills and experience who can partner effectively with leaders, diagnose problems and propose appropriate solutions.

- A tertiary qualification in finance/accounting.
- ACA or CA qualified.
- A minimum of 5 years Finance Business Partner/complex Management Accounting experience working in a complex environment.
- A customer centric mindset and approach to problem solving.
- Inclusive and adaptive working style and the ability to influence and develop trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
- High levels of self-awareness, agility and resilience
