We are currently recruiting for Registered Midwifes for our Labour & Birthing Suite.
Our Labour and Birthing Suite is one of the largest maternity units in New Zealand, providing both midwifery-led and specialist obstetric care. Midwives work in partnership with women and their families to achieve a safe and fulfilling outcome and in accordance with the woman’s birth plan.
Our National Women's Hospital at Auckland DHB is one of the largest maternity hospitals in Australasia, with approximately 6,500 babies born each year. We are a tertiary referral centre and the national referral centre for babies needing specialist surgery or medical interventions. We also provide primary maternity care to women in the central Auckland area
You must have extensive knowledge and experience in:
- Primary birthing, postnatal, care of the late preterm infant and care planning for these whānau.
