Right now, we re looking for a Recovery Registered Nurse with lots of experience behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru. You ll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role one moment you could be working with a gynecology patient; the next, you re in orthopedics never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!
As part of our Operating Theatre service you will be working with a supportive and dedicated team. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the recovery room including providing contemporary evidence-based patient care.
Preferred candidates will:
- have clinical experience in a Recovery setting or in a Critical Care area
- have clinical and technical expertise specific to Recovery or be committed to achieving this
- be skilled at planning and prioritisation
- be able to work under pressure
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- hold a valid ACLS Level 6 certificate or be prepared to achieve this
