We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

We are part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. Be a part of the only, purely vascular service in Australasia! In this exciting specialty you will be able to develop your acute surgical and assessment skills. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary, professional team committed to delivering quality care to Auckland’s vascular patients.

Ward 41 offers you the opportunity to join a committed and stable team who specialise in demonstrating all of Te Toka Tumai Auckland’s values whilst providing exceptional patient care on a daily basis.Supporting professional development and further education is very important to us. An environment that allows you to upskill and grown at levels.

We need experienced registered nurses from a surgical, medical or cardiac background with a passion for working within a vascular unit.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Have a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Previous surgical, medical or cardiac experience will be beneficial
