Casual Registered Nurses- Inpatient Detoxification Unit at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitematā, Auckland

Ideally we are seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our casu al team, providing high quality nursing care on an ad hoc basis to clients withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs in an inpatient unit. Previous experience in working in the addiction, community health or mental health sectors would be advantageous, although not essential.

To be successful in this role you will need to have well developed relationship building skills, as well as being able to work autonomously while being part of a multidisciplinary team. If you are a team player, have excellent communication and time management skills then we would like to hear from you.

This is a casual position and covers rostered shifts. You will therefore need to be available to cover any rostered shift, including night duty, and be available to cover short notice sick leave. Having completed or working towards post graduate study in either addictions or mental health would be advantageous but not essential.
