We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are looking for Registered Health Professionals to join our dynamic, innovative, and friendly team with a focus on the delivery of high-quality care to the growing population in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Applications are welcome from Registered Health Professionals with at least three years' experience of working within an acute care setting. The Acute Care team (crisis) is part of the wider Community Mental Health team here in Whakatāne, the team has strong support from both the Community Mental Health sector teams and the Mental Health Inpatient unit. We have a commitment to working in partnership and collaboration with consumers, family/whānau, primary mental health services and the community.
The successful applicants will work as part of the acute care team as a rostered member. We provide a supportive environment, opportunities for career development and participation in service development.
