Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Are you a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist who has Breast Screen Aotearoa accreditation? We have an exciting opportunity to work predominantly at one of new fixed sites in Wellington CBD. You will play a key role in the delivery of both the symptomatic service and Breast Screen Aotearoa (BSA) national screening programme for the eligible population of the Wellington region. A flexible approach to the needs of the service is essential as there is a requirement for evening and possible weekend work.

Moū - About you
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and motivated individual with an in-depth understanding of mammography and breast imaging including Tomosynthesis. The post holder should have a New Zealand recognised post graduate mammography qualification which is BreastnScreen Aotearoa (BSA) accredited. They will perform high quality routine and specialised mammography whilst maintaining a high standard of patient care. You will also be responsible for all the Quality Assurance processes at the screening site.
You should be able to work well in a team environment and as a sole MIT at a site and be flexible regarding work location so as to accommodate unplanned changes in the roster.
