Where you’ll be working: Women’s Health Service
The details: Permanent full-time, 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), rostered
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated experienced registered nurse to join our team in the Women’s Health Service.
About our service:
Waikato Hospital is a tertiary facility and we have over three and a half thousand births per year. As well as caring for women in the Waikato we are also the tertiary hospital for the Midland region for women requiring complex care.
About the role:
The position would be predominantly based in the birthing suite, birthing suite HDU and Women’s Assessment Unit – Maternity ED. You will however also work in other areas in the Women’s Health Service such as in the gynaecology ward, postnatal ward, and Women’s Health Clinics.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about providing quality care for Women within a multi-disciplinary team
• has excellent communication skills
• is a good team player, with a positive attitude.
Required skills & experience:
• have your NZ Nursing Registration and a current practicing certificate
• have experience working in an acute Women’s Health Service, caring for high risk women.
While not essential it would be advantageous if you have had Emergency Department nursing experience.
