Kōrero mō te tūranga About the role
Working across HVDHB and CCDHB, this role has been created to build staff capability and contributes to the 2DHBs building a safety culture where the environment is safe for staff, patients and whānau. This role sites in the Capability Development team and provides learning analysis, design and development expertise, as well as delivery to the 2DHBs. This role has links to the Health and Safety and Security teams as well as the clinical and non-clinical services that require support to build capability.

The Capability Development team is a friendly multi-disciplinary non-clinical team that spans both DHBs. We lead the strategic direction for education and capability development ensuring that staff potential is maximised through high quality learning.
Moū About you
We are looking for someone who has instructional design and delivery skills with knowledge and expertise in building capability to prevent or manage verbally and physically aggressive behaviours in the workplace. Being able to see the big picture and build a programme of learning that will meet the needs of a complex health organisation is a key delivery aim of this role.
