Our Allied Health team brings together a diverse range of professions and services that work within our community setting as well as the hospital. At Ashburton, like other rural healthcare systems, you'll experience the variety of a generalist role that you won't get in our city campuses. This leadership role provides a great opportunity to bring together your team s l expertise, and partner with the other clinical disciplines to develop a contemporary and responsive service within our rural community.
This is a permanent 8 hour per week position (0.6FTE) with days and exact hours to be negotiated at interview.
The Role: Where you fit in
As the Clinical Co-Ordinator for Ashburton Acute and Inpatient services you will provide support to the Associate Director of Allied Health, Scientific and Technical by taking on delegated leadership and operational tasks for the team. This role may have some delegated staff management tasks, though does not have budgetary responsibility and clinical hours. You will provide allied health leadership and co-ordination into this aspect of the Ashburton health services structure, working closely with the nursing and medical colleagues.
To be successful in this role you will have;
- A recognised tertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health profession
- NZ registration with the relevant registration body.
- 5+ years clinical experience
