Are you interested in rehabilitation? If so then we have an exciting opportunity for a part time, permanent Dietitian position at the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit (ASRU).

The Auckland Spinal Unit is one of only two spinal units in New Zealand delivering specialised rehabilitation to spinal cord injured patients.
Working within our service you will be a key member of an interdisciplinary team, using your expertise in nutrition assessment and clinical interventions to work towards individual patient goals. This role will also involve providing lifestyle modification advice to individual patients as well as providing clinical teaching to patients, care givers, other health care professionals and other stakeholders. There is scope for service development and implementing projects which will improve the nutritional care of the patients you will be working with.
Ideally you will be able to work autonomously, as well as part of an inter-disciplinary team although ongoing support will be provided as required. Counties Manukau Health fully supports ongoing education and development of all employees.

NZ Registered Dietitian with a current practising certificate
Minimum 2 years clinical dietetic experience
Works well within an interdisciplinary team
An ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients and colleagues
Experience working in an adult rehabilitation facility
Experience working with lifestyle related conditions
