Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role
We are excited to offer a Graduate Accountant position be based from our Manakau office. As a Graduate Accountant you will support Kāinga Ora to deliver high quality services through our Finance Shared Services (FSS) function, with the aim of progressing to fully qualified CPA or CA. This role will also have some home working based on the current climate and will suite a proactive candidate who has initiative and isn't afraid to ask questions. The role will have you rotate across our Finance functions. Some of your main areas of focus in this broad scoping role will include:
- Treasury Settlement
- Cash Management
- Procure to Pay
- Finance Systems
- Financial back office processing and management

This is an ideal opportunity to further develop your career in Finance, some of the key skills and attributes that will help you succeed in this role include:
- Eligibility to enter, or already entered in the CPA Program, CA Program or equivalent
- Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Analytical, interpretation and problem solving ability
- An innovative continuous improvement philosophy
- Enthusiastic, diligent team player mentality
