About the service:
The Nursing Resource Team provides an opportunity to work across a number of clinical settings such as surgical, orthopaedics, cardiovascular, medical, older persons and rehabilitation, paediatrics, woman’s and critical care areas covering care partners, sick leave and vacancy deficits.
About the role:
Working under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse you will be deployed to work in a variety of clinical areas within the hospital assisting with vulnerable patient activities of daily living (ADL’s). You will be expected to work a variety of shifts; AM, PM and night shifts.
Required skills & experience:
• Previous experience working in a health care setting in New Zealand is desirable but not essential! We are committed to training and supporting new staff.
• Preference will be given to those who have achieved health related NZQA unit standards Level 3 or 4 core competencies.
A comprehensive orientation is included and you will be encouraged and supported to complete your HCA merit steps.
