The details: Permanent full-time, 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), rostered
A full time permanent position has become available for a Pre-Analytical Medical Laboratory Technician based at Tokoroa Hospital. The successful applicant will work in our busy multidisciplinary laboratory as part of a small friendly team of scientists, technicians and phlebotomists.
The successful applicant will perform specimen collection and registration and will preferably have experience in phlebotomy.

- Adaptable and works well in a team environment as well as capable of working autonomously
- Able to prioritise and multitask
- Focused on continuous quality improvement
The preferred candidate will be a registered Medical Laboratory Technician with previous experience working in a multi discipline laboratory.
The Waikato District Health Board Health & Safety has a policy that includes ensuring that you comply with the Health Order announced 11 October 2021 and with the Waikato DHB’s Vaccine Preventable Diseases for Employees policy. Waikato Hospital is the Midland regional referral centre for multiple specialties including trauma surgery, oncology, and neurology.
