Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
This role supports Kāinga Ora's relationships with community stakeholders and a community development approach in all our projects. You'll get to know the communities in this area closely, working with local networks and organisations to ensure that redevelopment furthers community aspirations and brings about positive change.
The face of Kāinga Ora in the community, you'll also be instrumental in building capacity and capability within the community to lead development initiatives, and supporting social procurement and enterprise opportunities.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification, coupled with extensive experience of best practice engagement. A relevant professional certification, such as IAP2, would be advantageous
- Excellent relationship management skills across a diverse range of stakeholders, coupled with broad and extensive stakeholder and community engagement experience
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a strategic and growth mindset.
