The Inpatient Unit at Wairau Hospital is a 47 bed unit with three nursing teams delivering quality patient care to Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation patients. We practice in a collaborative patient partnership model of care to achieve best outcomes for our patients/families and whānau.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to cover parental leave until 31 August 2022, working 56 hours a fortnight (0.7FTE), across all shifts: AM 0645 1515, PM 1430 2300, Night 2230 -0700.
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
You will be a NZ Registered Nurse, or Enrolled Nurse, with a current APC and post-registration nursing experience ideally including working with an AT&R, Surgical or Medical focus.
You will be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
For the health and safety of both staff and patients, and in line with the Health Order, all NMH staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
