Our Nutrition and Dietetics Services is a dynamic team within the Adult Allied Health Services and we provide cover across all adult wards at Auckland City Hospital, renal services and outpatients.
We have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Dietitian to positively contribute to patient care within our Nutritional and Dietetics Team.
This role sits within our renal team of 6 Dietitians and works closely with Renal Service providing nutrition care and for patients with chronic kidney disease including pre-dialysis, dialysis and renal transplant in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. The role is ideal for a dietitian with excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work independently as part of a dynamic team
As a renal Dietitian, you will work in partnership with an individual and their whanau to provide nutrition care tailored for their needs.

As an ideal candidate, you will be able to work positively and proactively to optimize patient experience, while ensuring a thorough clinical reasoning process. You will have excellent communication skills and confidence working within a multi-disciplinary team.
You will be a New Zealand registered dietitian, have a current Annual Practising Certificate and have at least two to three years of clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Previous renal dietitian experience preferred.
