We are looking for a NZ registered midwife with loads of passion and commitment to join our maternity team at Wairau Hospital.
We have approximately 500 births a year and we can promise that the role will be busy and varied so no two days will be the same.
We are an enthusiastic and friendly team with a commitment to providing childbearing women with optimal healthcare through women-centred and appropriate clinical assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and education.

You will be a high performing midwife with total commitment to women centred and culturally respectful care. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the broader organisational health care objectives.
For the health and safety of both staff and patients, and in line with the Health Order, all NMH staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
This is offered to those employees not yet vaccinated.
