Our busy Endoscopy Suite consists of one treatment room with the recovery area situated in the Day Stay Unit at Nelson Hospital. We are a small professional team led by a Clinical Nurse Coordinator and are focussed on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice. You will be caring for patients before, during and after their endoscopy procedure.
As this is a casual position, with no fixed hours, it will be important that you have the availability to work on an as required basis, sometimes at short notice.
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
You will be a NZ Registered Nurse, or Enrolled Nurse, with a current NZNC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience preferably in endoscopy and/or acute care. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
For the health and safety of both staff and patients, and in line with the Health Order, all NMH staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
