Are you ready for your next challenge? We are looking for a highly experienced, professional and dynamic person capable of producing and communicating complex information clearly to make a case for change, and leading a small team working in a developmental and ‘test and learn’ way.
The South Auckland Social Wellbeing Board (SASWB) is looking for an Evidence and Insights Lead to be part of Board’s Implementation Office team. Counties Manukau District Health Board (CM Health) is the host agency for the SASWB and this role is employed through CM Health.
The South Auckland Social Wellbeing Board (SASWB) is an interagency multi-sector government initiative seeking to improve health and social outcomes for children and their whaanau in South Auckland. It is doing this by bringing together local decision-makers to make more effective decisions based on local evidence and community insights, and taking a whānau-centred approach to identify system changes and commissioning opportunities that will improve meaningful support for whānau and children in the early years.
The Evidence and Insights Lead position is key in developing, managing and promoting the Evidence and Insights function of the SASWB to inform place-based decision making to enable SASWB to successfully meet its objectives. The role is also responsible for leading a small team to collectively develop, produce and present this information. The role involves working across multiple government agencies and organisations.
You must have:
- A minimum of 5 years applied experience in the area of evidence-based quality improvement, developmental evaluation, and data analysis
- A minimum of 2 years line management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding and complex environment, and deal with multiple senior stakeholders
- Strong ‘fit for purpose’ data gathering, analysis, interpretation and presentation skills
- Organised work practices and attention to detail, while being able to see and contribute to the ‘big picture’ to identify the next important analysis to inform system change opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This is a full time, Monday to Friday, fixed term role until 30 June 2023 and will be based at 19 Lambie Drive, Manukau. There may be an opportunity for an extension of this role beyond June 2023.
