We have an opportunity for a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
We are a collaborative and supportive team looking for a colleague who shares our values of Respect, Partnership, Care and Improvement.
We are interested in hearing from Pharmacists with hospital pharmacy experience or Pharmacists keen to expand their career into hospital pharmacy. When you join our team, we will provide support and guidance as you grow your clinical skills, with local continuing education sessions and support of other training opportunities.
You will be delivering pharmaceutical care and advice to inpatients which includes, but not limited to, rotations through the orthopaedic, general surgery, cardiology, neurology, acute assessment unit, respiratory wards.
You will be imperative to the training to intern pharmacists and undergraduates and provide support to the wider pharmacy team including supporting dispensary functions. You will be someone who finds reward in contributing to the improvement and development of medicines services to the hospital, and working with our colleagues in a multidisciplinary approach to deliver great patient care. Addition to the on-call roster will be discussed after a minimum of 6 months working with our team.
