About the Service
Orderly Services are an essential service that supports the running of the hospital, providing a customer focused and quality patient service. Including transporting of patients, bloods, equipment, waste, security and care of the deceased.
The service operates 7 days, 24 hours a week, and 8 hour shifts are rostered on a rotated basis, so suitable applicants would need to be available across all days and hours.
About the role
Orderlies interact daily with hospital staff, patients and the public, while performing their duties. You will need to have excellent high standards while performing your role but also be able to be respectful and considerate of others.
Our Orderly roles are physically demanding so a good level of fitness is essential.

Skills and Experience

- Level 2 or 3 NZQA is an advantage - on the job training towards this qualification is available
