About the service:
Waikato DHB is implementing bowel screening from March 2021. We are seeking an experienced Community Care Coordinator to be involved in the programme.
About the role:
This role will focus directly on engaging, educating and encouraging our priority group populations, in particular Maaori and Pacific, to complete their test kits and participate within the bowel screening programme. This also includes providing support to attend colonoscopy, alternative assessment or first treatment appointments.

Clinical specialities include Women’s and Children Services, Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Surgery, Oncology and Haematology, Surgical services, and Mental Health and Addiction. Waikato Hospital is the Midland regional referral centre for multiple specialties including trauma surgery, oncology, and neurology.
