Oral Health Educator / Adolescent Coordinator Team Taupo
Permanent, part time 0.5 FTE
This is an exciting position for somebody interested in work for the community. With skills to speak in public and easy engage with different age groups and ethnicities.
This position is based in Taupo supporting our Fixed clinics and mobile units. Visiting schools and Kohanga Reo and attending different population groups of our district.
This position will be required to work during school holidays on a rostered basis.
A qualification and/or experience as a Dental Assistant is desirable. We are looking for someone with a passion in oral health, especially who enjoys working with children and young people. Te Reo speakers are ideal for this position due that big part of the job is Maori communities.
A current drivers’ license with no restrictions is essential for this position.
A requirement of employment with Lakes DHB is a satisfactory Worker Safety Check including Police and Vulnerable Children’s legislation checks.
To be eligible to work at Lakes DHB you must be fully vaccinated.
