Mō te tūnga - About the Role
Ward 10 is one of our surgical wards at the Canterbury DHB which specialises in cardiothoracic surgery. Our role sees us caring for patients that are undergoing acute and arranged cardiac and thoracic surgery.
We are seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for this area of nursing and a commitment to the delivery of high standard of nursing care. Enthusiastic and motivated, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast paced, forward thinking, supportive environment.

If you re a motivated, enthusiastic Registered Nurse, with acute medical and/or surgical experience and would like the opportunity to practice in cardiothoracic nursing we would love to hear from you.
You will have:
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
