We are looking for a person with energy and initiative to join our team of Hospital Aides. You will be a person who is attentive to detail and understands the importance of meticulous hygiene to protect vulnerable babies.
This role will provide the opportunity to support the nursing and administration staff and contribute to the smooth running of our busy unit. We currently have a part time position available based at Middlemore Hospital, working 30 hours a week, Monday to Sunday rostered shifts.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with ordering, stocking, cleaning equipment
- Liaising with other departments such as biomed, inwards goods, engineering and reception
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use initiative with good problem solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
- Desire to contribute to developing systems and processes for improved service delivery
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Previous experience in health care sector an advantage
- Basic computer skills
- All round team player with the ability to work unsupervised.

The salary for this position is between $48,710 - $53,803 pro-rata, dependent on skills and experience.
