Are you a Paediatric Physiotherapist looking for an opportunity to work in the community as part of a dynamic community team? Then look no further. We are ideally looking for a Physiotherapist with paediatric experience who is passionate about working with children and their families.
 
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a very experienced and highly skilled multi-disciplinary Community Child Health Service based close to North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals; a Team committed to providing excellent therapy services to our children across Waitematā DHB. Our work encompasses therapy services with disabled or developmentally delayed preschool children in their homes, early childhood facilities or local community facilities with flexibility to also hold centre based clinics, groups and therapy sessions.
 
All aspects of our work are provided in partnership with families and community agencies involved in the care of the child, based on the child’s strengths and goals. There is opportunity to, at some stage join an acute respiratory physiotherapy on call roster to children in the Rangatira Unit, our children’s ward at Waitakere Hospital. 
 
Our team is passionate about upholding the WDHB vision of best care for everyone, and is offering this role with supervised training and ongoing professional development. Experience in child development/child neurology is desirable. A current driver's licence and current NZ Annual Practising Certificate is essential.
