Kōrero mō te tūranga -About the role
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Delivery, Principal Business Partners work closely with a dedicated business group portfolio offering diverse and challenging work. Operating in partnership with people leaders you'll solve problems and recommend solutions, leveraging your experience, insights and knowledge to help achieve business goals. You will develop and maintain in-depth understanding of your groups: their business objectives, challenges, risks and HR indicators. You will also help develop and embed operational and strategic people projects and change activities across our global network
Principal Business Partners operate within a high performing People Division who are constantly seeking innovation and technical excellence to help them effectively support the business. They foster an exceptional team spirit and a great sense of fun
This is a highly visible role which will provide you genuine opportunities to shape mind-sets, introduce new concepts and shift culture.
The appointment range for this role is $113,856 to $154,040 - negotiable depending on experience.

Your success will be measured through your ability to help mitigate risk and support positive strategic and operational business outcomes. Adopting a collaborative and open approach, you will contribute to positive engagement with the Unions and key stakeholder groups and demonstrate a natural ability to build relationships and influence others.
To be successful in the role, you will bring experience in the following:
- Strategic HR Business partnering preferably in a large professional services or similar environment.
- Change management including organisational design and culture change
- Leadership development
- Workforce planning and employment relations
- Superior influencing, writing and verbal communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement and commercial acumen
