Contract: Permanent, Part Time, 32 hour per week (0.8FTE)

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Intake/Triage Clinician-s role is to review and triage all referrals to Pasifica-CAMHS and Porirua CAMHS teams. You will be an active member of both these teams and as well will liaise as necessary with other intake clinicians for the various 3dhb CAMHS teams.
You will be triaging non-urgent referrals from a variety of sources in the community, liaising with relevant services to ensure young people receive safe, high quality and equitable care.
This is a fundamental role to ensure that children, young people and their whanau access the most appropriate service based on their needs and is essential to the smooth running of the CAMHS service.

All community mental health teams are filled with bright dedicated clinicians. According to the students we have, Porirua & Pasifika CAMHS have created a friendly, close-knit team that support each other, in clinical practice and professional growth.
This role will be supporting both the Porirua CAMHS team and the Pasifika CAMHS team.
Moū - About you
You will be an experienced registered mental health professional (Allied Health or Nursing) with at least 5 years of recent work experience in a DHB mental health service, an up to date annual practicing certificate, and experience in mental health triage and risk assessment.
