Do you have an affinity for critical care nursing and want progress your career, Hutt Valley ICU is the place for you.
We are a combined ICU / HDU where patients will be able to transition between levels of care without leaving the unit. We are an up-to-date as medical facilities get, with brand-new equipment, and with the patient-focussed design you'll be thrilled at the quality of care you can provide.
Mō tō mātou rōpū ' About our team
Our team delivers acute life support to critically ill patients and as a Regional Burns and plastics centre, we support post-operative major reconstructive surgery. Alongside support of high acuity patients of all ages.
In each shift you'll be responsible for the assessment, care and treatment of one or two patients, with autonomy in your scope of practice. You'll work with patients of all ages ' from young children to geriatric ' and their whanau, too.
