Registered Nurse Emergency Department – Rotorua Hospital
‘NEW TO ED’ or Experienced ED nurses
Full or Part time, Permanent, Fixed Term or Casual
We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to join the team in Rotorua Emergency Department full-time or part-time, permanent or fixed term, or casual via our internal agency.
Rotorua Emergency Department is a busy hospital ED seeing 33,500 patients p.a. with the full mix of presentations - paediatrics, medicine, surgery, O & G, mental health and trauma.
RNs who are new to ED Nursing Practice can join our ‘New To ED’ programme that will support RNs as they take up this new area of nursing practice. For experienced ED nurses, we have a strong support system in place for staff to study and develop new clinical skills and knowledge. We welcome new faces and skills to our team.
You would have a current New Zealand work permit and Annual Practising Certificate to be eligible to work in New Zealand. You must demonstrate effective communication skills, team work, and a commitment to customer-focused service delivery. To be eligible to work at Te Whatu Ora Lakes, you need to be fully vaccinated, including for COVID-19.

Salary range: $72,061 - $95,340
