This is one of those ideal positions, incorporating the full range of clinical GP practice exposure, without the ties to running your own business as a practice owner/operator. You will effectively play the part of the "white knight" riding in to save the day (well at least save the incumbent GP from burnout, by allowing them to take a break while knowing their practice & patients remain in safe hands).

And while you will be kept busy, you will also have real down time to dedicate toward your personal pursuits and what better area in which to be based than Timaru/South Canterbury where SO much is literally available on your doorstep to see and do. Lakes, mountains, rivers, sea, national parks, sporting venues, are all staggeringly close to hand which makes living in South Canterbury so convenient and attractive.
