We are looking for an innovative and forward thinking Team Manager to lead and provide management and leadership for the Adult East clinical team based at Highland Park.
In this role you will provide management and leadership to the team through the utilisation of best management practice and effective leadership. You will deliver on required outcomes through the active engagement in the partnership model with the wider leadership team, external stakeholders, and service users and family/whanau.
Reporting to the Service Manager and with responsibility to the Clinical Head to ensure clinically safe service deliveries are in place. You will contribute to the development and implementation of Integrated Locality Care services. Work in partnership with NGO’s and addiction services across the MH&A system, to improve outcomes for service users accessing these services.
The ideal candidate will need to have;
- Clinical leadership/ management experience in Adult and/or Child and Adolescent Mental Health setting
- Financial and Budget management
- Committed and strives to achieve high standards
- Capable of leading and managing business planning
- Demonstrate ability to develop and manage effective multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and cultural competencies required in the service
- Understanding of the New Zealand Health Strategy and other Government policy settings as it pertains to Mental Health services
