You will be working with a well-coordinated interdisciplinary team that include physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker and nursing input.
We are looking to recruit a second Geriatrician to work on the Assessment Treatment and Rehabilitation Ward, alongside an experienced American Board-Certified trained Geriatrician who has successfully made the transition from the USA to New Zealand.
You will share in the care of a 20 bed sub-acute care unit, participate in community visits and clinic visits, where we are focusing on service development to become more community facing to support and lead the innovation of community health of older persons services, (working in consultation and partnership with primary care).
