Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

  • Full time or part time, permanent positions located in Greenlane Clinical Centre, Auckland
  • Monday to Friday 

We are seeking expressions of interests to join the Koanga Tupu team at Kari Centre.

Koanga Tupu is a small team within the Kari Centre specialising in the assessment and treatment of infants (0-4). The team works from a strong attachment framework and all assessment and treatment occurs within a relational (usually dyadic) framework - requiring specific understanding of both infant and adult clinical issues and needs. Prior experience and/or knowledge of these areas is desired but the team is very supportive and would ensure that mentoring and support would be available.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a skilled clinician with the ability to manage potentially complex levels of anxiety in parents and their infant’s behaviours
  • Be calm and skilled navigator of the process of engagement and subsequent therapeutic approach 
  • Be a registered health practitioner with a current annual practicing certificate

Knowledge/awareness of significant adult mental health and personality disorder presentations is beneficial.
