Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapist

Full time (1.0 FTE), permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapist to live and work in one of New Zealand’s prime adventure playgrounds!
This position would best suit an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with two years post graduate experience including paediatrics or community disability services. However, we are open to hear from other suitably qualified clinicians or those with a passion to move into paediatrics.
Do you enjoy working with young children and their families, working independently? Do you have excellent communication skills, a great sense of humour and wish to be part of a skilled, fun paediatric multidisciplinary team with a strong team ethic? If so, we would like to hear from you!
The scope of practice is a transdisciplinary role covering Neurodevelopmental Therapy for children 0-15 years inclusive who have a wide range of disability and developmental disorders in the Rotorua/Taupo/Turangi region.
To be eligible to work at Lakes DHB you must be fully vaccinated.
