We have a full-time role for an experienced Data Manager to work collaboratively with the Research and Evaluation team as well as Counties Manukau Health (CMH) researchers and other stakeholders regarding the design and conduct of research and evaluation projects, especially data capture, management and curation.
This role is also responsible for research and evaluation data management in preparation for analysis, and some statistical reporting. The data manager is expected to co-author peer-reviewed publications and monographs, and to carry out or assist other Research and Evaluation team members in carrying out the preparation and running of regular research and evaluation workshops and clinics, as well as conference presentations.
In order to be successful in this role, it is important that you work collaboratively with the specialist staff in CMH regarding the design and conduct of research and evaluation projects, and the analysis of data from diverse retrospective and prospective sources.
If you are familiar with various software applications including data capture and management systems such as REDCap, and statistical software such as R and RStudio, SAS and SPSS then we would love to hear from you.
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field
- 2 years of practical experience in a support role in a clinical/medical organisation utilising data management principles, statistical techniques, data analysis & computing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
