Dental or Oral Health Therapist - Taumarunui at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waikato, Manawatu - Wanganui

Where you’ll be working: Taumarunui and surrounds

The details: Term Permanent – 40 Hours per week (1.0 FTE)

We have an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Dental/Oral Health Therapist to join our team in the Taumarunui and surrounding area. You will need to be flexible, well organised, self motivated and demonstrate that you can work effectively with whanau to improve oral health.

Our mobile dental units are modern and computerised, using digital radiography and Titanium. Our service strives to be a leader in preventive care, elimination of health inequalities and achieving health equity in our community. We have a great team to work with; employing a 1:1 ratio of dental assistant to therapists. We offer modern ergonomic equipment in mobile units and multi chair facilities.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

•    Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

•   You must be a New Zealand registered Dental Therapist with a current annual practicing certificate
