Service: Te Whare Mārie Specialist Māori Mental Health
Contract: Permanent, Part time (20 hours per week / 0.5FTE)
Salary: As per MECA, reflective of discipline and experience
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This role is to review and triage all referrals to Te Whare Mārie CAMHS. You will be an active member of the team and will liaise as necessary with other intake clinicians for the various 3dhb CAMHS teams.
You will be reviewing non-urgent referrals from a variety of sources in the community, liaising with relevant services to ensure young people receive safe, high quality and equitable care.
This is a fundamental role to ensure that children, young people and their whanau access the most appropriate service based on their needs and is essential to the smooth running of the CAMHS service.

Moū - About you
You will be an experienced registered mental health professional (Allied Health or Nursing) with at least 5 years of recent work experience in a DHB mental health service, an up to date annual practicing certificate, and experience in mental health triage and risk assessment.
