Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
- Innovative service primarily based in Central Auckland - Ponsonby
- On-going staff education and support
- Permanent full time opportunity - Monday – Friday - 8am – 4:30pm
Taylor Centre provides a multi-disciplinary, recovery focussed service for clients living in Central Auckland. The Care and Recovery Service provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic treatment options in collaboration with service users, their families/whānau, local communities and the Multi-Disciplinary Team within the CMHC. This is achieved through the assessment and management of the complex health needs of service users, with the provision of effectively planned care that supports them to manage their overall healthcare needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a service that will support excellent clinical care into the future, as well as offering the chance to develop your existing Mental Health knowledge and experience in an established and multidisciplinary work environment.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You will be a registered Occupational Therapist and have a current Annual Practising Certificate. This is essential prior to any appointment.
This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who has experience and skills working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and experience within a community mental health setting would be beneficial.
Being a confident communicator and decision maker with strong nursing competencies are imperative. Strong organisational skills and a high level of time management are also required in the role. A full and clean NZ driver licence is essential in this community based role.
