Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Leading a team of four, the Commercial Manager provides senior level operational management in a number of functional areas including car parking, vehicle leases/fleet management, Clinical Education Centre and any other Commercial Service operations as required. The team also ensure that the outcomes of procurement and supply chain activities are successfully implemented into the organisation.
You will be responsible for providing options around sustainable transport initiatives, finding innovative ways to reduce the impact of private motor vehicles on campus, and reducing the DHBs overall dependence on carbonised travel options.
As the Commercial Manager you will champion business improvements across the parking and transport work streams and the Commercial team.
You will also lead Commercial Services Health & Safety and the management of Art Works on Auckland DHB campuses.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will :-
- have proven experience and success in a contract management role within a large, complex and fast paced organisation
- have extensive experience in relationship management
- be able to own and influentially nurture relationships between stakeholders and suppliers to identify and implement value-add opportunities
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 10 years plus experience of managing a team within the Health Sector or within a comparable complex sector
